Ils fondent  Volkswagen  en 1937, pour industrialiser leur  Volkswagen Coccinelle  et conçoivent leur prototype de_cc781905-5cde -3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_ sports car   Porsche Type 64  (1938), but the requisition of German industry for the war effort _cc781905- 5cde-3194-bb3b-136bad5cf58d_de la  World War II  suspends their project.

Ferry Prosche succeeded his father in 1945 and finalized their “Porsche 356” project with a first prototype  Porsche 356/1   in 1948.

She was nimble, light, and well built. Its build quality has earned Porsche a solid reputation. Elle était dérivée de la  Volkswagen Coccinelle  notamment par l'utilisation d'un moteur  boxer  à 1,131 cc flat four-cylinder, air-cooled and located overhanging the rear of the vehicle, for a top speed of 140 km/h .

He handcrafted the first 49 copies in  aluminium , payable in advance by his customers.

This Porsche 356 Speedster has become a real myth over the years. Its rarity and the explosion in the price of collector cars today makes it a car relegated to the domain of the inaccessible for certain  models .
